Delete Your Account and Data

How to request deletion of your CaliLane account and associated data.

Delete in the app

Open CaliLane, go to Settings, choose Account and backup, and select Delete account. Review the information shown and complete the required confirmation. This starts deletion for the signed-in account. Local-only information may also need to be removed from the device or by uninstalling the app after account deletion.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@calilane.se from the address connected to your account and write that you want to delete your CaliLane account. We may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account. Never send passwords or unnecessary health information.

What is deleted

After verification, we delete or irreversibly de-identify account profile data and synced personal data that is not required to be retained. This may include nutrition logs, body entries, settings, saved recipes, progress data, account backup data and private community information associated with the account.

Community content

Public or shared content may be removed, anonymised or disconnected from your account. Some copies may remain where another user has independently shared, quoted or received the content, or where retention is necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or comply with law.

Analytics and step statistics

Optional product analytics uses a pseudonymous installation identifier rather than your account identity. We stop future collection when consent is disabled. Existing raw product analytics is deleted or aggregated within the stated retention period. Individual country step contributions are automatically removed after no more than 30 days.

Backups and legal retention

Deletion from active systems is completed within a reasonable period. Encrypted backup copies may remain temporarily until overwritten under the backup cycle. We may retain limited records when required by law, to document consent or deletion, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce rights or protect the service. Retained data is restricted to those purposes.

Effect of deletion

Account deletion is permanent once completed. You may lose access to synced data, social connections and recovery options. Deleting the app from your device does not by itself delete a cloud account, and deleting an account may not automatically remove information stored only on another device.

The complete legal text is published for transparency before launch. The registered company name and organisation number will be inserted after the new limited company has been registered. No private residential address will be published. The documents will be reviewed again before CaliLane launches publicly.
